Danielle Donaldson, CD(DONA), CYT is a certified birth doula, trained postpartum doula, trained newborn care specialist and an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. She provides full spectrum doula services and owns a thriving business in Boulder, Colorado. Doula DeeLight, LLC, offers birth, postpartum, and sibling doula services, as well as newborn care with a focus on overnight and family sleep support. She received her BA from the University of California, Irvine in 2003 and spent the following 14 years professionally facilitating pre/post natal restorative yoga, mindfulness meditation techniques and therapeutic movement. She is active in her participation as a DONA International member and looks ahead to serving the organization in a more formal capacity. She works in association with Balanced Beginnings Doulas, a doula collective providing a network of backup coverage and continuity of support for clients and colleagues alike. Danielle is continuing her professional education by currently pursuing Certified Lactation Counselor® (CLC) training as well as Childbirth Educator training (CBE). She is a member of the Institute for Study of Birth, Breath and Death and a trained bereavement doula. She’s worked in the past with the Emma Center in Eureka, California offering pro bono therapeutic restorative yoga classes for survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. Currently, she serves her local community as a volunteer doula for the Mother House organization and is in the process of completing the Boulder County DHHS Foster Care Core Certification Training.
