Lisa Higuchi, BS, EMT-P, AAHCC is a licensed paramedic, birth doula, Bradley Method® childbirth educator, and Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. Lisa has been a doula and childbirth educator for 25 years, and is currently the area Education and Clinical Quality Improvement Manager for American Medical Response, the largest private ambulance company in the US. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loma Linda University in Emergency Medical Care, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Biomimetics from Arizona State University. Lisa has over 25 years of adult education experience with medical students, RN’s, paramedics, EMT’s, and expecting parents on a variety of topics, including childbirth preparation, emergency medical care, obstetric emergencies, childbirth research, disaster preparedness, 12 Lead EKG Interpretation, advanced physical diagnosis and critical care, as well as CPR, ACLS, and PALS. Lisa has been an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor since 2015, and was one of the first instructors to offer Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Classes, beginning in 2018. Lisa teaches in multiple locations in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California, primarily Murrieta and Riverside.
