Sangheetha Parthasarathy holds a masters in Computer Science and was working with Big Data at Accenture when she got pregnant. She grew up in India, went to the United States for higher education, where she lived and worked there for seven years before moving to London. She then pursued her fellowship in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania. She discovered the birth world through her own pregnancies and is now a Doula, Hypnobirthing Instructor and a therapist, working with women who have had traumatic births. Sangheetha is also pioneering a new paradigm for childbirth education which brings together her background in research and data with her more intuitive career as a doula. She is moving to India shortly where she has set up a non-profit organisation focussed on bringing high quality evidence based childbirth education to create large scale social impact.
